New in LeadCapture! Model this Landing Page, Sales Letter Funnels, Failed Delivery Alerts, New Components & More!
Summary
Another big round-up of the latest updates we pushed to LeadCapture.
Check out the video for the full walkthrough, a quick look at a simple but effective landing page setup you should be testing, and some good old-fashioned dad advice for dealing with the moments in your business that feel hard.. at the bottom of this message.
This release we leaned hard into two things: giving you more control and customization inside the builder, and making it even easier for you to build lead funnels, quizzes and surveys faster.
We shipped Per-Step Component Visibility, Builder Focus Mode, a stack of new page components including a Sales Letter builder, Failed Delivery Alerts, auto-generated funnel subpages, a redesigned AI Copilot that travels with you, GoHighLevel calendar pre-fill, a Polling & Survey feature, and an upgraded AI funnel creation flow where you choose your funnel style up front. Keep reading for the full list.
What We Shipped
Per-Step Component Visibility
- Show or hide any component on a specific step, instead of only globally.
- Want a different headline, testimonial, image, or video on one step than another? Now you can. Click "Hide on This Step" and that element only shows where you want it.
- Works across every component type in the builder, so you can tailor the page experience as the lead moves through your funnel.
Builder Focus Mode
- Push the left design panel and right steps panel out of view so you can focus on the page and copy without the clutter.
- Keyboard shortcuts to move fast: left bracket toggles the left panel, right bracket toggles the right, and slash opens or closes both at once.
- Small update, big quality-of-life win when you're heads-down building.
New Page Components
-
A batch of new drag-and-drop components to expand what you can build.
-
Stats Banner with Motion: Drop in a stats banner and switch it from static to ticker mode to scroll your numbers across the page. Customize color, speed, and it pauses on hover.
-
Benefits Card: Highlight key benefits with customizable icons and colors.
-
How It Works: A clean, block-style section as an alternative to the long zigzag layout.
-
Testimonial Callout: Add a single testimonial with a photo, adjustable star position, and star color.
-
CTA Section: A below-the-fold call to action that can link to another page, jump to another part of your funnel, or anchor back up to the top.
Sales Letter Builder
- A new component for warming up colder prospects who don't know you yet.
- Comes with direct-response templates built in, like Pain-Agitate-Solution, so you start from a proven structure.
- Have Copilot write the full letter for your vertical, then edit, lengthen, or shorten it. Pair the sales letter with your funnel right below it to warm leads up before they hit the form.
- A dedicated walkthrough video is coming in the next couple of weeks.
Failed Delivery Alerts
- If a lead fails to post to your CRM or lead distribution tool, we now fire an alert immediately, both by email and inside the platform.
- You'll know the moment a delivery fails, at the time the lead is captured, so you can react before it cascades into more lost leads.
- A tracking UI lets you see failures, make your fix, and clear them out. If it happens again, you get alerted again.
- One of the first features of its kind in the space, and critical if real-time delivery to clients and buyers is part of your business.
Polling & Survey Feature
- Capture real-time poll and survey data directly inside LeadCapture.
- Spin up a live survey to capture leads, collect responses, and follow up. A new angle for engagement-driven lead capture.
Two-Column Drop Zones & Full-Width Headers
- More control over two-column layouts, where your form or survey sits on one side and your content on the other.
- New drop zones let you add a full-width headline, video, or any component above and below your two-column section, something you couldn't do before.
- Position the form left or right and build a richer page around it.
Auto-Generated More Funnel Subpages
- Generate a privacy policy, terms of service, or partners page nested directly inside your funnel.
- Everything stays bundled within the same lead funnel instead of living as random standalone pages, so multi-page funnels stay organized.
- Drop in your text and link to it from your main funnel. This is why we call them lead funnels, there's far more to them now than just a form.
GoHighLevel Calendar Pre-Fill
- If your thank-you step uses a GoHighLevel calendar, you can now pass survey field values straight into the calendar form.
- Leads don't have to re-enter their name, contact details, or other info they already gave you. Less friction, more booked appointments.
- This brings GoHighLevel calendars in line with what we already do for Calendly.
Adjustable Headline & Subheadline Text Size
- Independently control the size of your headline and subheadline text at the step level.
- Want the headline smaller than the subheadline? Adjust size, weight, and color directly in the step's style settings, or have Copilot do it for you.
Redesigned AI Copilot
- The Copilot no longer lives locked to a side panel that squishes your page. It now travels with you, sitting in the center of the builder and staying within reach as you scroll.
- Prefer the old layout? You can still dock it to the right-hand side. You can also now collapse both the left and right panels, which wasn't possible before.
- Outside the builder, Copilot has full context on your funnels and performance, so you can ask things like "How many leads did I have last week?" or "Which funnel is performing the worst?"
AI Funnel Creation, Updated
- When you build a new funnel with AI, you now choose your funnel style up front.
- Single Column: Best for heavy mobile traffic, consolidates cleanly to one column.
- Two Column: Form and survey on the right, content on the left, for desktop-heavy traffic.
- Sales Letter: Build a full sales letter funnel using the new component.
- Add your context, brand color, TCPA and lead verification preferences, and auto-generate privacy and terms pages as part of the same flow.
Funnel Notes & Blueprint
- Generate a custom AI blueprint that summarizes your funnel: its goals, steps, and structure.
- Add your own notes directly to the funnel, then regenerate or update the blueprint as you make changes.
- Share it with clients or team members to keep everyone aligned on what a funnel is doing and why.
Image Cropping
- Crop images right when you upload them into the builder, then resize from there. A small but requested workflow improvement.
Founder Note
In the video, I not only walk you through all of the latest updates, but I also introduce you to the growing collection of coffee mugs sitting around my desk... most of which were created by my kids.
And honestly, that pretty much sums up my life right now.
Shipping features. Answering support. Recording videos. Talking to customers. Building the product. Then closing the laptop and switching right into dad mode.
It’s a lot.
But I’m putting in the hours because I genuinely want LeadCapture to be the best it can be. Not just another builder. Not just another funnel tool. But something that actually helps you capture better leads, move faster, and grow your business.
So when I say your support means a lot, I really mean it.
It’s fuel.
Because there are days where this is hard. Really hard. But when things get hard, I push harder. That’s usually where the good stuff happens. That’s where the breakthroughs happen. That’s where the business gets better.
So the next time something in your business feels heavy, frustrating, or harder than it should be, remember that.
Hard doesn’t always mean you’re doing it wrong.
Sometimes hard just means you’re in the middle of building something that matters.
One more thing on the horizon: I’ve been wanting to start a laid-back live session series, and I’m leaning toward calling it LeadCapture Fridays. Think open sessions where you can jump on, talk through your funnels, and get some live training. I’m aiming to kick it off later this summer, so keep an eye out.
Until next time, John
