Week of May 9th: Click Fraud, Lead Scoring, Gamification Funnels & More!

Summary

Another big round-up of the latest updates that we pushed to LeadCapture.

This release we shipped Lead Scoring, a click fraud integration, and a Gamification feature to help you take your forms and funnels to the next level. We also rebuilt the builder with auto-versioning and undo, launched a Video Library with engagement controls, updated the AI Copilot with new Insights, added GA4 and custom Meta event tracking, exposed element IDs for GTM, rolled out Confetti Cannons, URL Pre-Pop via UTMs, and shipped a stack of smaller form, page, and analytics improvements. Keep reading for the full list.

What We Shipped

Lead Scoring

  • Add weighted scores to your leads based on how they respond to each question.
  • Use the final score to qualify leads for outreach, pass quality signals to clients and buyers, or prove lead quality on the back end.
  • Route leads in conditional logic based on score, so high-intent prospects can take a different path through your funnel.

Anura Click Fraud Integration

  • Native integration with Anura, one of the leaders in click fraud detection.
  • Enable Anura to score every visitor's traffic in real time.
  • Pass the score downstream to your systems, or block the form and funnel from loading entirely when fraud is detected.
  • Click fraud scores are exposed deep in the builder so you can use them across conditional logic and lead delivery.

Gamification 'Spin Wheel'' Step

  • With our new Spin Wheel Step it's now possible to build full gamification funnels with incentives and interactive elements to drive engagement.
  • A new way to differentiate your funnels, increase completion rates, and stand out from generic forms.

Funnel Version History

  • Every funnel now auto-saves versions as you work, so you can roll back to any prior state if you make a big mistake.
  • No more rebuilding from scratch when an experiment goes sideways or a teammate overwrites something important.

In-Session Undo

  • A real undo button inside the builder. Reverse any change you just made, in session, without reloading or restoring a version.
  • Pairs with version history: undo handles in-the-moment mistakes, versioning handles "I broke this an hour ago."

Video Library

  • Upload videos directly into your pages with a built-in video library.
  • Hide the pause button to force watch-throughs, add countdown timers to land engagement on the front end, and drop CTAs at the end of the video.
  • CTAs can link to any other page or anchor down to your form, turning every video into a conversion driver.

AI Copilot, Updated

  • The Copilot now carries more memory across the session, so it holds context as you iterate on a funnel.
  • New Insights tab surfaces recommendations and observations directly inside the builder.

Confetti Cannons

  • Add confetti cannons to any step in your funnel as an engagement and delight mechanic.
  • Recommended near the end of your form to reward leads for completing the experience.

URL Pre-Pop via UTMs

  • Auto-fill any field in your funnel using UTM parameters, including name, phone, address, and custom fields.
  • Perfect for email and SMS retargeting where you already know the lead's details. Every keystroke removed is a conversion saved.
  • Combine with lead verification to auto-verify pre-populated leads as they hit the funnel.

Tracking & Attribution Updates

  • Added GA4 on the Analytics and Attribution side. This is now the recommended approach for Google Ads conversion tracking, since you can import GA4 conversion events directly into Google Ads.
  • Fire custom Meta conversion events or custom Meta events on any step or button click to train the Meta pixel more aggressively.

Element IDs in the Builder

  • We've exposed element IDs across the builder for advanced tracking and customization.
  • Target existing IDs or add your own custom ID and class to any element.
  • Ideal if you're running advanced setups in Google Tag Manager or layering on custom scripts.

A/B Testing Improvements

  • Restart a finished A/B test by pulling it out of its end state.
  • Clear A/B test metrics to start a clean run without rebuilding the test from scratch.

Form & Page Updates

  • Add helper text below any field or button. Optionally hide the text until clicked, so you can surface additional context without cluttering the form.
  • Add images directly to the top of your form, not just the page. Useful for visual quizzes, trust badges, or product imagery inline with the form.
  • Image cropping is now built into the editor.
  • Step renaming is much faster. Click directly into the name field when duplicating or editing a step.

Lead Playback Filter

  • Filter Lead Playback by funnel so you can isolate sessions for a specific funnel when reviewing recordings.

Aggregate Credit Usage

  • The credit page now shows aggregate credit usage at a glance, making it easier to track consumption across your account.

Funnel Resume

  • Pairs with our Partial Lead feature to give drop-off leads a way to pick back up exactly where they left off.
  • When a lead abandons mid-flow, if you already have their email or phone but still have more questions to ask, the system generates a unique
resume URL and token that stays active for 30 days.
  • Drop the resume URL into a follow-up email or SMS to retarget the lead straight back to the step they bailed on, instead of forcing them to start over.

Founder Note

Over the last couple of months we've been shipping a lot of updates, fast and frequent, all driven by your feedback. LeadCapture is becoming a more powerful platform by the week, and every new feature we ship still has to clear the same three filters before it goes out: does it help
increase conversions, does it improve lead quality, or does it improve workflow efficiency? So despite shipping frequent updates, we're still doing it with intention and focus. That matters.

We're in a rapid development phase right now, taking in feedback and turning it into features as quickly as we can. We won't always ship at this pace. Eventually we'll fall back into a more measured cadence, but for now there's just so much we want to build.

A lot has shipped in this release and the ones before it, with even more on the way. To help you keep up: read through the past release notes, lean on the AI Copilot (we train it on everything we ship), and keep an eye out for our new Office Hours series. We'll be using Office Hours to share what we're working on and walk through how to get the most out of LeadCapture and the latest features. More on that soon.

April 19 Update: Funnel Sub Pages, Session Recording, CAPI, Google Ads and More!

Summary

Grab a cup of coffee for this one, because we just dropped a ton of great updates.

This release we shipped Funnel Subpages, Lead Playback, and LeadProof, our experimental cryptographic compliance layer. We also rebuilt the AI Copilot Builder, launched the Verify integration, rolled out Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and TikTok tracking, added enhanced matching to Meta CAPI, rebuilt the Calendly integration, and shipped a number of new built components alongside Light Mode.

What We Shipped

Funnel Subpages

  • Build multiple pages inside a single lead funnel instead of being limited to one landing page and a quiz.
  • Create thank you pages, disqualification pages, cross-monetization pages, click-through pages, affiliate pages, and custom pages, all inside one funnel.
  • Route leads across subpages or into entirely different funnels with conditional logic.
  • Each subpage gets its own analytics and lead delivery settings, so you can track performance at the page level.
  • A/B tests can now cover entire subpage sequences, not just your landing page and form.

Lead Playback

  • Session recordings attached to every lead submission, with PII masked by default.
  • Watch exactly what prospects do inside your funnel to find optimization opportunities.
  • Recordings are stored with each lead for compliance and can be shared via a public playback URL that also passes through to your CRM or lead buyer.

LeadProof (Experimental)

  • Every submission is sealed on our cryptographic integrity ledger with a tamper-proof hash.
  • Each lead gets a shareable proof page that verifies when and where the lead was generated.
  • Works as a new compliance layer, not a replacement for TrustedForm or Verifi. Useful for proving to clients and buyers that leads are real.
  • Zero-knowledge proof and blockchain integration in progress.

Verifi Integration

  • Native integration with Verify, a TrustedForm alternative for capturing consent proof.
  • Streamlined setup with the script and token handling baked in.
  • A solid option for anyone looking to reduce reliance on ActiveProspect or diversify their consent stack.

AI Copilot Builder, Rebuilt

  • Completely rebuilt from the ground up to power Funnel Subpages and give you more control over what the AI builds.
  • New conversational flow asks about your industry, offer, tone, and desired subpages instead of one-shotting a funnel from a single prompt.
  • Smarter field recommendations, industry-aware prompts, and the ability to generate multi-page funnels in one pass.
  • You can now build a full funnel from leadcapture.io without being signed up, and claim it within 7 days.

Tracking & Attribution Roundout

  • Added Google Tag Manager integration with full container ID setup and event mapping.
  • Added Google Ads conversion tracking to push conversion events directly into your ad account.
  • Added TikTok pixel tracking for attribution and audience building.
  • Added enhanced matching to Meta CAPI to improve match rates by passing additional form field data.

Calendly Integration, Rebuilt

  • Fully rebuilt Calendly integration with field pass-through, so prospect name, email, phone, and custom fields auto-populate in Calendly.
  • New display options let you hide cookie banners, landing page details, and other default Calendly elements.

Page Builder: New Modules and Image Support

  • New module options including pill designs and social proof badges you can customize and link to review sites.
  • You can now add images directly into your lead form or quiz, either globally across all steps or on a per-step basis.
  • Great for visual quizzes, personalized forms, and building trust with photos of your team.

Multi-Column Field Layout

  • Set field widths to half or full to create multi-column layouts within a single step.
  • Ideal for single-step forms where you want a tighter layout, like email and phone side by side.

URL Pre-Pop via UTMs

  • Auto-fill any field in your funnel using UTM parameters, including address fields.
  • Perfect for email traffic where the user's info is already known and every extra keystroke costs conversions.
  • Enable via settings, then pass values through your links.

Light Mode

  • The entire builder can now be switched between dark mode and light mode.
  • Click the sun or moon icon in the left nav to toggle.

Starter Templates

  • A new library of starter templates to speed up funnel creation.
  • Choose a template or let the AI Copilot build your funnel from scratch, both options are now accessible from the same entry point.

What We're Working On Next

We have tons of updates and new features in progress. Stay tuned for our next update!

Founder Note

We plan new features, every one has to pass the same simple filter: does it increase lead flow, improve lead quality, or make you more efficient? This release hits all three, but it also does something new. It expands what a lead funnel can actually be.

The feature I'm most excited about from this sprint is Funnel Subpages. Until this release, a lead funnel in LeadCapture was really just a landing page plus a quiz. If you wanted a thank you page, a disqualification page, or a way to monetize leads after capture, you had to clone a funnel and hack around it. We rebuilt the foundation to fix that. Now you can nest multiple pages inside a single funnel and route leads across them, or into other funnels entirely, with conditional logic. Honestly, I don't think we've fully wrapped our minds around everything this unlocks. I expect the most interesting use cases to come from the people using it.

More big things are shipping before the end of the month. I'm not going to say what they are yet. Keep your eyes peeled.

March 23 Update: AI-Assisted A/B Testing, GHL Integration, and More

Summary

This week we shipped AI-Assisted A/B Testing and we also expanded our integration ecosystem with GoHighLevel and Jornaya, improved tracking with Facebook Pixel cookie capture and calendar conversion tracking, and made a number of enhancements across analytics, routing logic, and spam protection.

What We Shipped

AI-Assisted A/B Testing

  • Run split tests on your funnels with AI helping you determine what to test and when to end each test.
  • AI analyzes your funnel and suggests high-impact test ideas based on your traffic, layout, and conversion patterns.
  • Once a test is running, AI monitors statistical significance and recommends when to call a winner, so you're not guessing.
  • This is the first phase. We'll be rolling out deeper AI-driven testing capabilities throughout the year.

GoHighLevel Integration

  • Connect your LeadCapture funnels directly to GoHighLevel with a streamlined setup flow.
  • Removes the confusion and manual configuration that previously made this integration difficult to get right.

Jornaya Integration

  • Jornaya LeadID capture is now a native integration with a simplified setup process.
  • No more guesswork around where to place the Jornaya script or how to pass the LeadID through your webhook.
  • Especially useful for anyone in insurance, mortgage, solar, or other regulated verticals where Jornaya compliance is required.

Facebook Pixel Cookie Capture

  • Facebook Pixel now automatically captures fbp and fbc parameters directly from the browser cookie.
  • This gives you more accurate attribution and better data flowing back to Meta for optimization.
  • Just make sure Facebook Pixel is enabled on your funnel. The capture happens automatically from there.

Calendar Conversion Tracking

  • If you're embedding a Calendly or GoHighLevel calendar into your thank you step as an iframe, we can now detect when a prospect books.
  • Calendar submissions now show as conversions in the "Completions" section of your step-based metrics.
  • Gives you full-funnel visibility from first click to booked appointment.

Weekly AI Insights Improvements

  • Made a number of optimizations to the weekly AI Insights reports that go out every Monday.
  • Insights are becoming more relevant and actionable as we continue refining what AI surfaces.
  • We're continuing to optimize this and will keep improving the quality of recommendations.

"Is Between" Routing Logic

  • Added "Is Between" as a routing and conditional logic option in your funnels.
  • Gives you more flexibility when dealing with complex routing scenarios, like qualifying leads based on numeric ranges.

Range Slider Input Field

  • Range sliders now include an optional input field that lets prospects type in a value directly.
  • Useful when you want the visual simplicity of a slider but also need precision for higher values.

Export Leads to CSV

  • You can now export your captured leads directly to a CSV file from within the platform.
  • Makes it easy to pull data for reporting, list uploads, or offline analysis.

Bot and Spam Protection Optimizations

  • Improved our global bot detection and spam filtering to reduce junk submissions.
  • These are behind-the-scenes improvements that help protect your lead quality without any action needed on your end.

What We're Working On Next

  • Logic Variables with Prior Step Referencing - A variables system for the funnel builder that enables calculations across steps and variable-based routing (e.g., mortgage qualification scoring). Plus, AND/OR conditions will be able to reference fields from previous steps, not just the current one.
  • Consent Text UI Improvements - Making it easier to create and manage consent text within your funnels.
  • A/B Testing Insights via Copilot - Giving AI Copilot awareness of your A/B test results and delivering test progress in your weekly insights digest.
  • Credit Threshold Balance - For anyone buying credits, we're adding a threshold balance to prevent running out when a card fails.
  • Google Tag Manager Integration
  • Verfi.io Integration
  • Juiced Integration
  • More updates to be shared soon

Founder Note

When we build and plan new features, every single one has to pass a simple filter: does it increase lead flow, improve lead quality, or make you more efficient? If it doesn't check one of those boxes, it doesn't make the roadmap. The latest round of features and enhancements checks all three.

The feature I'm most excited about from this sprint is AI-Assisted A/B Testing. When we started planning how to integrate A/B testing into the platform, I didn't want to just build another way to serve up random variants. I wanted to think about how we make AI genuinely useful in the testing workflow, because the biggest challenges aren't running the test. They're figuring out what to test and knowing when to end it. So that's exactly where we pointed AI first - helping you generate test ideas and analyze results so you're making decisions based on data, not gut feel.

This is just the beginning of what we plan to do with AI-assisted testing. Over the course of the year, we'll be rolling out more updates to take this to the next level.

Beyond A/B testing, we also shipped two integrations I'm really happy about. Our GoHighLevel integration and Jornaya integration both remove a lot of the friction and confusion that existed around getting those set up. Less time configuring, more time running campaigns.

Looking ahead, the next few weeks are all about making it easier than ever to build and optimize lead funnels. That's the mission, and we're just getting started.

Founder Note

Over the past few months I’ve spent a lot of time restructuring how we build product internally so that shipping improvements becomes a continuous process rather than a big event.

The goal is simple: ship faster, improve faster, and keep moving the platform forward every single week.

Everything we’re building in LeadCapture NextGen centers around three core pillars:

  • Increasing conversion rates
  • Improving lead quality
  • Streamlining operational efficiency

If we can help you capture better leads, reduce cost per lead, and move faster operationally, then we’re doing our job.

You’ll start seeing updates here regularly as we continue building toward a more AI-native lead generation platform.

And what you’re seeing today is really just the beginning.

Welcome to Release Notes!

Welcome to Release Notes

Welcome to our release notes.

This section is designed to give you a transparent look at what we're building as we continue to expand LeadCapture NextGen.

One thing I’ve always felt many software companies lack is a consistent way to communicate what they’re building and why they’re building it. These release notes are my way of fixing that.

From here on out, I’ll be sharing updates directly from my perspective... not just what we shipped, but the thinking behind it.

While I’m steering the long-term vision for NextGen, the reality is that much of what we build comes directly from you... our users. The feedback, feature requests, and conversations we have every day play a huge role in shaping the product.

Think of this space as more than just release notes.

It’s a place where I can document:

  • What we’re building
  • Why we’re building it
  • What we’re working on next

And occasionally share thoughts on where the platform is headed.

Over the past few months, I’ve also spent significant time restructuring how we build product internally so that shipping improvements becomes part of our DNA.

Because of that, you should expect to see updates here frequently.

Everything we're building centers around three core pillars:

  1. Increasing conversion rates
  2. Improving lead quality
  3. Streamlining operational efficiency

In simple terms: helping you capture better leads, faster, and at a lower cost per lead.

These pillars open the door for a huge range of features - - from conversion optimization tools to AI-powered automation and even more advanced technologies in the future.

What you're seeing today with LeadCapture NextGen is just the beginning.

My hope is that over time this release notes section becomes a living, breathing record of the product's evolution. Eventually we may even open this up further with comments so it becomes a more interactive and transparent conversation.

Now let's get into what we've been working on in our next update.
