Hey, my name's John, and I'm the founder of LeadCapture.io 👋

Before I tell you why I built LeadCapture and why you should care, let's start with YOU.

If you sell leads, or you run lead gen for clients, you already know two things most businesses have to learn the hard way.

Truth #1

Leads are the lifeblood of every business you generate them for.

Truth #2

Volume isn't enough. Your buyers and your clients pay for qualified.

These two truths apply to almost any business out there, across multiple industries. Insurance, real estate, financial services, home services, solar, legal, and beyond.

And these two ideas are what ultimately led me down a windy, zig-zaggy path to building LeadCapture. I built it because I want to help you get more leads so you can grow your business, and get more qualified leads so you can do it efficiently.

If we drill into those two truths, there are problems that remain true across the board.

Getting leads is becoming more expensive.

Getting attention is harder than ever. Every click you earn to your website, you're paying more for. That means your website and your funnels have to be working that much harder to convert those clicks into leads. I built LeadCapture to help with that.

Fraud and lead quality is becoming a major problem.

Especially with AI. Nearly 33% of all leads generated are invalid or have fake contact info. Average contact rates post-submission are at an all-time low. That's something I want to solve with LeadCapture.

The tools weren't built for the way you work.

Not for sending qualified leads to buyers and clients consistently. So you bolt a second tool onto the first to get a better result. Fraud and spam show up and there's no answer. Contact rates fall and there's no answer. The integrations you actually post into aren't there. And when you grow, most of them charge you more for it. That's not a setup headache. That's being handcuffed to software that was designed for somebody else's business.

That's why I built LeadCapture. To solve all of these problems and make it easy for you to capture more leads, capture better leads, and ultimately reach a point of freedom.

And that brings me to my why.

I built LeadCapture because I want freedom. Let me tell you what I mean by that.

John Porrini with his family

My story with lead generation starts when I was 12 years old.

It was the Wild West of Google back then. You could run an ad on pretty much anything, and I had discovered affiliate marketing from a late night infomercial. I thought I was going to strike it rich and change my life.

The only problem was that running ads costs money, and I was 12. Had no money. So I convinced my dad to pay me to mow the lawn. I spent that summer mowing my parents' lawn multiple times per week. Every dollar I earned went back into Google Ads and lead gen.

By the end of the summer, I lost all my money and my parents had a burned-out lawn. My dad wasn't too happy.

That was my first lesson in marketing: just having something to sell isn't enough. You need leads, and you need a system for getting them.

Years later, after trying a few other things, I found my way back to lead gen full time. This time was different. The stakes were higher. I left my job as a product manager out of the blue. Story for another time. I started generating leads for service businesses with nothing but a Google Ads course and probably a thousand dollars to my name. I had to make it work.

I remember literally running out of money. I had to Google "free Bing Ads credit" of all things just to keep going. It was a total Hail Mary. I experimented with a different approach to lead gen, the approach that would eventually become what LeadCapture is today. And it worked.

Months later, I was selling leads to insurance agents, home services, mortgage brokers, legal firms, solar installers, you name it.

Across every single one of them, three things kept coming up: leads are the lifeblood of every business, volume isn't enough because quality matters more, and building the systems to get quality leads is brutally hard.

So in 2019, I built the first version of LeadCapture.io. Not because the world needed another SaaS product, but because I wanted one platform that handled all of it, volume, quality, and the tooling, for any business that lives and breathes lead generation.

Six years later, LeadCapture is the platform I wish I'd had when I was 12 years old mowing lawns for ad money, and the one I wish I'd had when I was running campaigns full time with a thousand dollars and a prayer. It captures, verifies, qualifies, and routes leads to wherever they need to go, all in one place, built by AI in minutes instead of weeks.

Freedom.

My mission, for me personally, is freedom. Freedom to live life on my own terms, to work on what matters, and to be present for my family. That's my wife Kaitlyn, our two kids, our two dogs, and Bluey III, our beta fish, who lives on a shelf somewhere outside Philadelphia.

And I think you got into this for a version of the same thing. Nobody starts selling leads or running campaigns for clients because they wanted to spend their Saturday inside a form builder. You did it because you're good at it, and because doing it well buys a business that runs on your terms.

What takes that away is rarely one big thing. Lead quality slips. A buyer starts rejecting. A client asks why last month looked different. And then you go looking for a fix and find out your tools don't have one. They weren't built to send qualified leads consistently, so you bolt on another tool. Fraud shows up and they have no answer. Contact rates drop and they have no answer. The integrations you actually post into aren't there. And the moment you grow, they charge you for growing.

That's the freedom I care about most, and it's the one I can actually do something about. Freedom from tools that were never built for the way you work. Not because the software is annoying, but because the software is the reason you can't reliably do the one thing that keeps your buyers and your clients around: send them qualified leads, consistently, month after month.

That's what I'm building. More leads, leads that hold up, and a platform that doesn't punish you for growing.
