In this post, I’ll dive into why we’ve made this change, what it means for you, and what exciting things are on the horizon.

  • No acquisition or ownership change. We remain a self-funded, user-focused business. The rebrand aligns with my vision and sets us up for long-term success.

A Little Backstory

Back in 2019, I started this journey to solve my own problems around turning my website traffic into a consistent flow of leads.

At the time, found that building high-converting, interactive lead forms was one of the most effective ways to do this.

With just an idea for a better approach to lead forms and $1,000 to my name, I set out to make it happen.

And I have to admit… the early days were hard (not that it ever gets any easier).

I had no funding and wasn’t a developer myself, which made things even harder.

Because of that, I had to be super focused — building everything from scratch and talking directly to customers to iterate and improve.

To overcome lack of funding, I did A LOT of things that didn’t scale.

For example, I spent the first year building forms manually form early users. 😥

You might even be surprised to lear that we didn’t even have a self-serve form builder initially.

Fast forward to 2024, we’ve captured over 1 million leads, introduced dozens of unique features, and built a strong team behind our product.

But, it didn’t come without MASSIVE growing pains, many sleepless nights, dozens of mistakes and a lot of pain along the way.

Yet here we are… still standing and pushing forward to a brighter future.

So, Why Rebrand?

First things first, this decision has nothing to do with an acquisition or change in ownership. GetLeadForms, now LeadCapture.io, remains a self-funded, bootstrapped business focused on the interests of our users and my vision.

Up to this point, we’ve been growing organically and doing well as a form builder.

But, remember the backstory I shared earlier?

I built this software to solve problems around lead capture, not just to create another form builder.

While forms are a big part of what our product does (and will continue to be), it has always been about more than that in my mind. It’s about being comprehensive lead capture software, not just a form tool.

After plotting and thinking about it for well over a year, I finally decided to rebrand.

This rebranding is primarily focused on our positioning and paving the way for sustainable, long-term success.

This leads me to my vision.

The Vision for LeadCapture.io

My vision: LeadCapture.io is the world’s most powerful and advanced lead capture platform and it helps businesses everywhere capture more qualified leads.

At the end of the day, I’m on a mission to help any business, marketer, and entrepreneur level-up their lead capture game.

While lead capture forms will continue to be our core product, this also means expanding beyond just lead forms to features like point-of-capture email verification, compliance features, deeper analytics, routing/distribution, other lead capture tools, and even new resources and content.

What This Means for You

The short version — You don’t need to change or update anything on your side! All your forms will continue to work as they always have.

The main changes you’ll see include:

  • A fresh new logo and brand
  • New UI
  • Updated login links (with redirects in place)

What this means for you is access to exciting new features, more helpful content, and a fresh new commitment as we strive to make LeadCapture.io even better.

This is only the beginning. In the weeks, months, and years ahead, we will enhance the platform, broaden our range of features, forge new partnerships, and develop more valuable content and resources—all designed to help you capture even more leads.

As the founder, I’m incredibly excited about the direction we’re headed. We have a lot of work ahead, but my promise to you is that we’ll keep pushing forward, making consistent 1% gains every day that add up to significant improvements over time.
